OCSA Jazz Studies Students at The Drake
The Garn Family Jazz Studies Program at OCSA enables young musicians in grades 7 through 12 to receive a comprehensive music education, while fueling their passion for jazz. The program's distinguished faculty includes some of today's top jazz recording artists, educators, and performers. Their talents are showcased at Laguna's swanky jazz club. 7 P.M. Sept. 15.
The Other Side of Memory: Photographs by Luis C. Garza
This nationally touring exhibition captures powerful moments of Chicano activism and community life from the 1960s and ’70s. Featuring rare black-and-white images from Garza’s personal archive, many on public display for the first time, the exhibit offers a visual narrative of a transformative era in American history. Sept. 15-Oct. 15 at the Old Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana.
2025 Pacific Wine & Food Classic
Known for its spectacular setting and unmatched culinary talent, this award-winning event invites food and wine lovers to sip, savor, and celebrate by the sea. This one-day festival showcases bold wines, inventive cocktails, and irresistible bites from Southern California’s top chefs and restaurants. Sept. 20 at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.
