A Note from the Publisher

On May 24, Culture OC published a story by Richard Chang titled “Dalí Exhibit at the Muckenthaler Raises Questions of Authenticity.” Since its publication, Benjamin Feldman, who acquired the collection, has pointed out inaccuracies and misleading suppositions in the article regarding the authenticity of some of the works displayed at the Muckenthaler. These errors were the result of incomplete reporting and editing. Culture OC deeply regrets the mistakes and apologizes to Mr. Feldman for allowing them to happen. We have removed the article from the website, and we will use this unfortunate incident as a learning experience as we work to provide the best arts and culture coverage that we can.
