Diego Rivera: HIS STORY
Culture Clash member Herbert Siguenza presents an evocative one-person show that delves into the extraordinary life of Diego Rivera through his art and relationships with women and patrons. Set in the aftermath of the funeral of his iconic wife, Frida Kahlo, Rivera returns to his studio, grappling with grief, confusion, and a looming sense of mortality. Physical Graffiti 2026
Undergraduate choreographers present an annual concert featuring a dynamic range of dance styles — from contemporary ballet to hip hop and beyond. Showcasing creativity and passion, this performance celebrates movement’s ability to transcend boundaries and ignite powerful emotion. April 30-May 2 at UC Irvine's Claire Trevor Theatre.
Trio Barclay
For the first time, Trio Barclay expands its ensemble, welcoming guest violist Jessica Chang for a special collaboration. Featured on Brahms’s Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25, Chang joins the Trio in bringing to life one of Johannes Brahms’s most enduring chamber works. 5 p.m. May 3 at Irvine Barclay Theatre.
