Pageant of the Masters

July 9-Sept. 4

Iconic masterpieces and monumental works of art are transformed into living pictures. This year's pageant includes Rome's Trevi Fountain and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., featuring Daniel Chester French's monumental sculpture of Abraham Lincoln. The production also brings to life celebrated works by legendary artists including Claude Monet, Johannes Vermeer, Norman Rockwell, Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and Pablo Picasso. July 9-Sept. 4 at Irvine Bowl in Laguna Beach.

World of Dance

This event brings together elite international dance crews competing across multiple styles. It features high-stakes finals, intense crew battles, team exhibitions, master classes by industry pros, and vibrant creative community networking. July 7-10 at Anaheim Convention Center.

Andy Moses: Into the Light

Through Sept. 20

Spanning more than two decades, this exhibition traces Moses’s sustained investigation of light, perception and the dynamic relationship between abstraction and landscape. Moses’s use of color and scale has been compared to artists such as Mark Rothko and Morris Louis, as well as earlier painters including Claude Monet and J.M.W. Turner. Through Sept. 20 at Laguna Art Museum.
