Laguna Beach Music Festival

The 24th annual festival, presented by the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, features some of America's best classical musicians under the artistic directorship of renowned violinist Stefan Jackiw. Guest artists include Kevin Ahfat, piano; Yoonah Kim, clarinet; the Parker Quartet; musicians from the Colburn School; Steven Schick, conductor; and story artist Xai Yaj. Feb. 2-7 at Laguna Playhouse.

Bodies and Bodices: A Study of Revolutionary Europe Through Art and Fashion

Feb. 4 @ 11 a.m.

Explore the sweeping cultural shifts of the Enlightenment through the compelling story of Marie Antoinette, whose bold personal style and break from royal tradition reflect the era’s move from Rococo elegance to Neoclassical refinement and the dawn of modern individualism on the eve of the French Revolution. Presented by art historian Annalee Andres. 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at the Bowers Museum.

Joss Stone: Less is More Tour

Feb. 4 @ 8 p.m.

Since her breakout debut The Soul Sessions in 2003 at 16, Stone has sold over 15 million albums and surpassed one billion streams in the U.S. alone. She’s collaborated with James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger, and Sting, 8 P.M. Feb. 4 at Irvine Barclay Theatre.
