15th Annual Handel's Messiah
Global Harmony Symphony invites all ages to the 15th Annual Handel's 'Messiah' Sing-Along & Play Along. Featured Soloists include Amanda Patterson, Soprano; Aleta Braxon, Alto; Zechariah Beeker, Tenor; Raymond McLeod, Baritone. Bright as Life: Southern California Poets
Curated by OC Poet Laureate Gustavo Hernandez, this event is a celebration of the dynamic voices shaping SoCal poetry. Sign up for open mic from 5:30–7:00 pm and share your own voice, then soak in readings and reflections from other poets, writers, and creatives. 5 p.m. Dec. 9 at Huntington Beach Art Center.
Holiday Organ Spectacular
Celebrate the season with the king of instruments. Enjoy a magnitude of musical splendors with world-class organist Todd Wilson and members of Pacific Symphony performing a mix of sacred and holiday music. Favorite Christmas carols share the bill with traditional organ works that highlight the 4,322-pipe William J. Gillespie Concert Organ. 7 P.M. Dec. 9 at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, Costa Mesa.
